The Invisible tracks, no they aren't. This is the Delhi Metro Line terminating at Jehangirpuri Industrial Area, New Delhi. In my previous posts I have shown you people the pollution in the area. Here I share some other funny pics. I liked this one.

The Metro has changed the face of Delhi...But why has it been terminated there...no construction activity?

Beautiful capture. Here also metro work is in progress in several parts of the city.

Looks like a scene from the movies where a bridge is broken and the train stops right at the edge!

This looks really scary!!!

Kcalpesh said...

Construction stopped or the railway line ends there? Or does the Metro take off like an air plane :-D ? Interesting shot this one!!

Pixellicious Photos

Made me think of the english movie, Speed

At first I thought it a bridge to nowhere, a highway never completed. Thanks for the clarification.

Dewdrop said...

Reminds me of the movie "Speed", where the bridge was out, and the bus had to jump.

Great shot!

Japa said...

That's the end of the line, or else. Very neat shot.

creative capture..carry on..there is no point in terminating things like this...

Glennis said...

Not a lot of use at the moment, maybe they will continue the construction.

Ebie said...

What happened? Isn't it scary? What happens if the brakes are faulty?

Very interesting shot!

At the very onset I believe I should have given the complete info..this point (in picture) is atleast a kilometer away from the last station. And is only meant for some odd jobs, trains don't usually come to this point, not as far as I knew. Such spaces are provided in metro of each and every country, to control speed, or to put off some faulty train.

@ magiceye :D

@ Nalini..yes it has, it is suppose to be built few more stations from this point, but that is a faraway plan

@ Rajesh..Thanks ..yes it is in work in many metros now

@ Randi..not if you see it from my eyes.:)

@ Kcalpesh...taking off like airplane..lol..nothing as such the activity stops here

@ Shrinidhi..me to..:)

@ Martha..can happen..but it is a complete line though

@ Dewdrop..thanks..me to thought about it

@ Japa..thnks ..it is the end of th e line

@ Spiderdama...u can be fined or even jailed for walking over metro tracks :P

@ Shelle...I dont see anything shameful here..read the full thing :)

@ Lily..out of dream lol :)

@ Megha....Bermuda is 12000 Kms away from here :D

@ Al..thanks..it shud

@ EG Wow..then don't be..read above th explanation :)

@ Sharod..thanks

@ Glennis..that is an real intelligent observation

@ Ebie..it is built if brakes get faulty..:)
