A view of Clouds at Lansdowne

View from Tip N Top

I must admit that I am a cloud freak. So where ever there is a could formation, if I've a camera at that time, I am only desperate to click it. This picture was taken from Tip N Top at Lansdowne. Snow clad peaks can be seen far away.

On the way to way to Lansdowne, the sights of highways of Uttar Pradesh

A rally organised by Samajwadi Party, you can see the samaj there, they came in every known mode of transport.

Sunset on the road, at the outskirts of Bijnore.

A village in Bijnore

Leaving Meerut

Approaching Najibabad. The Brick klin at the background

These pictures were taken on the way to the Lansdowne. The places, are Meerut, Bijnore, Najibabad and numerous villages inbetween. These picture were take from inside of the moving car. These pictures tell a lot of stories. They tell the stories about the laidback life there, they tell about the peacefull evenings. They tell how there klins produces bricks for the great urban skyscrapers. They tell about the state of highways. And finally, they tell how politicians manipulate them for their own selfish needs.

The pictures were taken on February 13th, 2009

Morning at Lansdowne

View from Tip and Top

Lansdowne, this small cantonment, headquarters of Garwhal Regiment is at least 5 hours drive from Delhi. I went there with my office colleagues in February. Though we played cards till 4 am in the morning but still I was able to wake up early by 6 am to catch this beautiful sight.

I have always wanted to see the rising sun in the mountains, the wish was granted this time. The thing I liked about this photo is the sun which is breaking through the mountains. I still can feel the fresh rays hitting my face rejuvenating me with a new life.

What a feeling that was, it was just eternal peace.
The photo is taken on February 15th, 2009.
