Deepawali 2009- The Lighting
This lighting of my home is done by 'Yours Truly' with the help of his friends. Nothing was outsourced to the electrician. This was conceptualized by be, and administered by my friends and me. I am really thankful to them for helping me out.

Where are we going?
First of all my apologies for not posting for more than 3 months now. For most of the period during that time I was recovering from Jaundice. If not doing it I was maintaining my other blog, but that too was sporadic. Moreover, my camera was also not working and I was stuck with my old rickety Kodak CX6200.
This photo that I am sharing here now was taken by me almost a year back at Bapu Bazar at Jaipur. I was just wondering, were these parked bikes were solving transport and parking problem or they were just eyesore and trouble to the pedestrians shopping in the market. This thing is present in all of the Indians metros, Even in New Delhi, Connaught Place complex is decorated by cars. What is your say in this?

The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life
The photo I took in Connaught Place, sometimes in march. The tree was dying amongst the concrete jungle, only solace were the birds on it. Even though I like photography my friends do not aprove this crazy behavior. Somehow they came to discourage me from taking this shot. However, sometimes I prevail.
Waiting for your comments

On the way to way to Lansdowne, the sights of highways of Uttar Pradesh
A rally organised by Samajwadi Party, you can see the samaj there, they came in every known mode of transport.
These pictures were taken on the way to the Lansdowne. The places, are Meerut, Bijnore, Najibabad and numerous villages inbetween. These picture were take from inside of the moving car. These pictures tell a lot of stories. They tell the stories about the laidback life there, they tell about the peacefull evenings. They tell how there klins produces bricks for the great urban skyscrapers. They tell about the state of highways. And finally, they tell how politicians manipulate them for their own selfish needs. The pictures were taken on February 13th, 2009

Morning at Lansdowne
Lansdowne, this small cantonment, headquarters of Garwhal Regiment is at least 5 hours drive from Delhi. I went there with my office colleagues in February. Though we played cards till 4 am in the morning but still I was able to wake up early by 6 am to catch this beautiful sight.
I have always wanted to see the rising sun in the mountains, the wish was granted this time. The thing I liked about this photo is the sun which is breaking through the mountains. I still can feel the fresh rays hitting my face rejuvenating me with a new life.
What a feeling that was, it was just eternal peace.
The photo is taken on February 15th, 2009.
