The Flag

The Flag

The Flag

It kept fluttering
Keeping bewildered
Does God only exists
Above - In Mountains, In Cold.

And who would see it
Coming from distant lands
The Flag, fluttering above:
Giving directions, but

Proffering only half truth
about journey's end

Playing with Photoshop: Genda Phool

Playing with the photoshop. Yes, indeed. Though I usually edit my images, but I wish to play with them. Today I decided to go ahead, though it is not that I haven't done it earlier. But, just why not play with them a little, a little (or more) tweaking and get something totally different and fascinating.

The original photo of this genda phool was taken by me on January 29th, 2011 at my friend's place.

ABC Wednesday Round 7: U is for Urchin

U is for Urchin, which means a kid in rags.
We met this boy at Lansdowne, Uttranchal, India, a hill station, there were many pahari kids like him in that small hamlet. When he followed us he asked for chocolate, my friend bought one for him and I clicked him. The smartass also wished to see his picture. Just wish this 'hotson' becomes something in his life. Childhood is really precious.

A view of Clouds at Lansdowne

View from Tip N Top

I must admit that I am a cloud freak. So where ever there is a could formation, if I've a camera at that time, I am only desperate to click it. This picture was taken from Tip N Top at Lansdowne. Snow clad peaks can be seen far away.

Morning at Lansdowne

View from Tip and Top

Lansdowne, this small cantonment, headquarters of Garwhal Regiment is at least 5 hours drive from Delhi. I went there with my office colleagues in February. Though we played cards till 4 am in the morning but still I was able to wake up early by 6 am to catch this beautiful sight.

I have always wanted to see the rising sun in the mountains, the wish was granted this time. The thing I liked about this photo is the sun which is breaking through the mountains. I still can feel the fresh rays hitting my face rejuvenating me with a new life.

What a feeling that was, it was just eternal peace.
The photo is taken on February 15th, 2009.
